Shared Education Curriculum Guidance Resources

On this page

The NI Curriculum can provide the knowledge, understanding, skills and personal capabilities and attitudes required for supporting schools to address reconciliation outcomes. It offers an opportunity to embed Shared Education through distinct areas of learning (such as Personal Development and Mutual Understanding at Primary and Learning for Life and Work at Post Primary), cross curricular skills, thinking skills & personal capabilities and attitudes & dispositions.

CCEA has a range of guidance for curriculum leaders and teachers on planning and developing whole school aspects such as teaching controversial issues and progression in mutual understanding.
