E-Bug Training – Future Learn
Public Health England has developed a free online course that is available for educators on how to teach children about microbes, reducing the spread of infection, vaccination and antibiotics. The course starts on 13th January and comprises 3 sessions over a 3 week period, each of which is 2 hours long and completed online. Follow this link for more information and to register:

This event aims to inspire & inform Key Styage 3 Science teachers by exemplifying science pedagogical approaches through four workshops.
Each of which are designed to support many of the statutory requirements of the NI Curriculum.

(11:00 - 12:00) Using science investigation to support progression through the NI Curriculum
(13:00 - 14:00) Enquiry-based approach to practical science
(14:00 - 15:00) Developing skills through chemistry
